The gardens are meticulously maintained and include many palms from the villa’s nursery. Large verandas with huge hand carved sofas with cushions dominate the front of the villas where a stretch swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon.

The house is owned and hosted by Fabrizio and Marika Molinaro. After completing medical school in Italy, Fabrizio has spent the last 20 years in Kenya in the safari business and travelling the world for artifacts for the house. Marika was in the fashion business for many years and she is now an interior designer for some of Kenya’s most luxurious houses, while running a small export business for hand carved furniture. Many of Fabrizio’s wildlife photographs have been published. The staff of 14 speak English, Swahili, Italian and French.
