The buildings of the old Hürlimann Brewery will take on a new role following their conversion into the B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa Hürlimann Areal Zurich. The B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa is a unique, intimate and urban hotel with strong roots in the community, providing old-fashioned hospitality with the very latest comforts.

Comfort and functionality have consciously been placed at the core of the exclusive interior design of the rooms, while the 150 years of brewing history have been artistically displayed in large pictures in the rooms and suites.

B2 Boutique Rooms are located in the former mash house and measure between 24 and 28m². They have parquet floors and an open bathroom. They feature a queen-sized bed and standard room fittings. B2 Boutique Rooms are ideal for solo travelers and short stays.

The Junior Suite is located in the former mash house and includes a living room and separate bedroom. The suite measures 52m². There is an open bathroom with a rain shower and a separate toilet. The living room with a separate dining space and bar cabinet is located on the first floor, as is a bathroom with a rain shower. The bedroom is on the second floor and has a king-sized bed, generous workspace and bathtub. The suite has parquet floors. In addition to the standard room fittings, the suite includes a trouser press, while flat-screen TVs are provided on both floors.

The luxurious Thermal Bath & Spa Zurich opened in December 2010. It is run by Aqua-Spa-Resorts AG. Spread over 3,300 square meters, this temple of relaxation is nestled in the former barrel filling area of the Hürlimann Brewery. The spa is one of a kind thanks to its unique architecture and an inimitable structure that includes the old barrel vaults of the former brewery. Simple brick walls lend the spa an atmosphere reminiscent of a monastery. Huge metal tanks in the vaulted cellars have been replaced by basins made of larch wood, a reminder of the large beer barrels used in the brewery. The peaceful atmosphere is very relaxing and restorative.

Various relaxing treatments are available during the Irish-Roman spa ritual. These include peeling brush massage, milk and herbal stamp massage, and a selection of body wrap treatments. All treatments are carried out in the same private room.

Outdoor bathing can be enjoyed all year round on the roof of the former brewing room on top of the B2 Boutique Hotel. The pool provides an unparalleled panorama of the entire city and the nearby mountains. There is no better place to relax in Zurich. And hotel guests don't have far to go – they enjoy direct access to the roof pool during the official opening hours.

With its tall arched windows and eleven-meter high ceiling, the library is reminiscent of a cathedral. The library is not only a place to read – it is a space where you can work, talk business or meet a date. This is where you will come to relax, chat, surf, socialize, flirt and network.

In recent years, the 16-acre former brewery grounds have been transformed into a cobblestoned complex of small shops and the home of Google’s Zurich campus. It is a 10-minute tram ride to the posh shopping street Bahnhofstrasse, and to Lake Zurich and its Rentenwiese Park.

B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa is approximately 20 minutes drive from Zurich Airport.
